Uplift And Empower
The Most Vulnerable

At Dedza Welfare Trust, our mission is to uplift and empower the most vulnerable communities in Malawi, Africa, and across the globe. We are committed to alleviating suffering by promoting education, both secular and Islamic, and fostering self-sustaining projects that provide long-term solutions.

Our goal is to create lasting change through immediate relief and unwavering support for those in desperate need, regardless of background or circumstance. By building bridges within impoverished communities, we strive to enhance resilience and lay the foundation for sustainable development that will thrive for generations to come.

“The believers, in their love, mutual kindness, and close ties, are like one body; when any part complains, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.”

Malawi First,
Emergencies Worldwide

Dedza Welfare Trust predominantly works in Malawi, East Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world. We actively support projects that create sustainable change and provide critical aid to those most in need.

Beyond Malawi, we actively support global emergencies and natural disasters. We have been providing aid to the oppressed and needy in regions such as:

  • Palestine
  • Yemen
  • Morocco
  • Malawi

Why Malawi?

Our focus on Malawi stems from the critical need in this region, where poverty rates remain among the highest globally. With your support, we're creating lasting change in communities that need it most.

Our Partners

We collaborate with trusted local organisations across Malawi to maximise our impact and ensure effective grassroots support in communities that need it most.

Why Local Partnerships Matter

Our strategic partnerships with established Malawian organisations ensure that aid reaches those who need it most efficiently. Local partners understand the unique challenges, cultural nuances, and specific needs of their communities.

Together, we're creating sustainable change from within Malawi's communities.

Every partner is in Malawi

All our partner organisations are registered and operating within Malawi, ensuring that 100% of your donations directly benefit local communities across the country, from bustling cities to remote rural villages.
